Tap's Trailers: X-Men: Days of Future Past

I am officially confused by the X-Men franchise. I straight up have no idea what they are trying to accomplish here. This is like a bad crossover episode of 'Friends' where they involve some other NBC show trying to get its feet under the ground.  The trailer looks pretty entertaining but I wonder for the viewer, how are they going to keep everything together here. Is this the last X-Men movie and they are just tying everything together from the X-Men trilogy and wrapping it up for X-Men First Class?  If at very least, this is Jennifer Lawrence's last X-Men movie as she carries the most active actor weight in an ensemble that features Hugh Jackman, Hallie Berry and Michael Fassbender. She's only 23 years old.
