The Bucks Buzz is a bi-weekly SnoTap post featuring Charlie Tritschler and Mitch Pratt. Charlie writes the Monday post while Mitch handles Thursday. This could change, but they both bring a unique style to the post.
Quick Recap:
Tuesday at Boston: After the Bucks had won their first game in a while this past Saturday, against these same Celtics, they headed to Boston for the second half of the home-and-home. It was yet another hard fought loss, a theme for the 2013-14 season. Brandon Knight came back to Earth in this one after his really solid game at home against Boston. The Bucks PG still had 15 points on Tuesday night but that came at a 5-15 clip. The Bucks lost 108-100 and were once again out-rebounded. This team is getting killed on the boards pretty much every night and that continued on Wednesday night.
Wednesday against Detroit: The Bucks returned home once again last night and welcomed back their old friend, Brandon Jennings, to his old stomping grounds. Despite another small crowd, Jennings was, of course, booed pretty much every time he touched the ball, at least in the first half. It wasn't a coincidence that he mentioned after the game that his nerves calmed down in the second half. Sector 7 needed to keep booing him but, then again, he was really a non-factor as he shot 4-16 from the field and committed six turnovers.
The Pistons' bigs were trouble for the Bucks last year and now they've added Josh Smith and the Bucks are already undersized. I guess what I'm saying is the Pistons are a nightmare for the Bucks to contain. Drummond and Monroe feast on collecting the garbage that Jennings and Smith chuck up every game. Drummond had 24 points and 19 boards to lead the Pistons to a 105-98 victory.

Giannis Unchained
One thing that has made these past three games worth watching is that rookie Giannis Antetokounmpo has finally been given some substantial playing time. He's averaging about 24 minutes per game over the last three contests and he's been impressing the home fans. He's even created an "antlers" celebration where he puts his hands on his head and spreads his fingers to mimic the antlers of a deer. I believe he's called them his "deers" but that's likely due to his lack of English. Kid's say the darndest things.

Larry Sanders has been cited for his part in that infamous scuffle at Apartment 720 about a month ago. Video of said scuffle has now been released by Milwaukee Police. Here it is.
Here is the post game video of Giannis after Saturday's victory over Boston in which he talks about the game and then his antlers reappear. The sky's the limit for Giannis.
What to watch
It'll be interesting to see if he can find minutes once Caron Butler inevitably gets healthy. He's probably the Bucks best player at this point. He clearly energizes the team when he gets into the game and he definitely energizes the crowd when he enters.
Also, it'll be interesting to see if John Henson has cemented his place in the starting lineup going forward. He's played fairly well in his time with extended minutes.
What's next?
The Bucks will head to the Nation's capital to face John Wall and the 9-9 Wizards on Friday. The Wizards will be without Bradley Beal yet again but they've been on a roll without him. They've won seven of their last nine and there's no reason to think that won't continue against the 3-15 Bucks.
On Saturday, the Bucks will return home to face the reeling Brooklyn Nets, who are nearly as much of a trainwreck as Milwaukee but have by far the largest payroll in the league and don't have their first round pick next year. They should figure it out eventually but they can't do anything right at the moment. They're old and banged up.
However, I see the Bucks splitting the weekend's games.
