It is interesting how Twitter basically has different cliques. I mean clique not in the 'Mean Girls' way where people say 'YOU JUST CAN'T TWEET WITH US, OKAY', more so just the different sections and sub-sections of Twitter. For example, NBA has their own Twitter and Milwaukee Bucks have a sub-section of it. For me, this is what made Twitter awesome and difficult for me because I like all sports pretty equally thus wanting to be in all of the cliques versus just one. This is also pretty true in real life as I always was a floater.
One of the other great things with Twitter in the last year is professional and college accounts have gotten much more loose. I feel like Los Angeles Kings have a ton to do with it. They sort of changed the game with their account during their Stanley Cup run in 2012. NBA has taken full advantage of it as our home team, Milwaukee, has a great account and others do too. For example, the red-hot Portland Trail Blazers asked this question yesterday.
Is it too late to join the Eastern Conference? Asking for a friend.
— Trail Blazers (@trailblazers) December 4, 2013Other teams like Phoenix and Atlanta respond in the best way possible...
@trailblazers We asked you to keep that on the down low. That eager to get rid of us already?
— Phoenix Suns (@Suns) December 4, 2013Strength of schedule might hurt their BCS chances. RT @trailblazers: Is it too late to join the Eastern Conference? Asking for a friend.
— Atlanta Hawks (@ATLHawks) December 4, 2013Charlie.
