All about Hollywood deciding to reboot Jake Ryan series. This is surprisingly the only fifth Jack Ryan movie in Hollywood yet Chris Pine is the fourth actor to take the leading role as Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck have before him. This also has Kenneth Branagh doing the directing as well as playing the villain. It stars Keira Knightley as his love interest which is a good sight to see her getting away from British period pieces. Kevin Costner also plays a supporting advisor role that he appears to be typecasted in his latter stages of his career. For the movie itself, Ryan is The premise of the movie is Ryan is a young CIA analyst trying to protect a Russian terrorist from taking down the United States economy. As a '24' fan, I am sold.
