I mailed a fruit basket to Lubbock, Texas last week after dashing their BCS hopes rudely in a post. I did not mean it Texas Tech I swear, I really like you, second favorite Big 12 school next to Baylor. This is another reason to like the Red Raiders with their cool new 'Lone Survivor' uniforms. These are being worn to help the Lone Survivor Foundation, a program to help wounded service members ease back into life after being hurt in combat. There is really no reason to criticize these jerseys. You might find them ugly or too flashy, but they are going to a good cause as the uniforms will be auctioned off after the game. Texas Tech will wear these next week against Kansas State. GRADE A+ (H/T @PhilHecken)
