Bucks Buzz: Tuesday November 18th

The Bucks Buzz is a bi-weekly SnoTap post featuring Charlie Tritschler and Mitch Pratt. Charlie writes the Monday post while Mitch handles Thursday. This could change, but they both bring a unique style to the post.

Hot Recap Take
Friday: Indiana 104 Milwaukee 77 - Roy Hibbert nearly had a triple-double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and eight blocks leading the charge for Indiana. The Bucks were never in this game. They got off to another slow start, and Indiana made them pay with a flat-out domination.  How bad was this game for the Bucks? Only one player registered a positive PER, and that PER was +1.  Not a good night for Milwaukee and sure we can use excuses like 'They only have seven healthy players' yet I feel like that's not a good enough excuse for a loss like this one. Maybe I am too harsh.

Appropriate YouTube video - 'Take me there' - Hibbert had to throw a bash at Entertainment 720 after this one.

Saturday: Oklahoma City 92 Milwaukee 79 - I have to confess something, I talked about going to this one with some people and I just could not muster it. The people I was with wanted to see Kevin Durant and Oklahoma City yet I could not pull myself to pay money to watch seven guys try to beat Durant and Russell Westbrook. I am sure this makes me a casual fan Mitch bitches about to me on a weekly basis, but I wanted to enjoy a nice dinner plus a debaucherous evening. As for the game, the Bucks played a tough first two quarters staying with Oklahoma City only to have Westbrook and company put them away in the second half. If you look at the box score, it is pretty even except for shooting. Milwaukee cannot hit sand if they fell off a camel right now.

Appropriate YouTube video - Wastin' All These Tears - Cassadee Pope - It was country night and this is easily my favorite country song of Fall. Pure fire.

I really like what the Bucks are doing with local T-shirt companies creating Bucks shirts for different games. All four companies do pretty well for themselves, and this is a great way to get the young professional and college crowd to the game. For 24 dollars, you set in the upper bowl with a t-shirt, that's not bad at all. This is a good one from Jim Owczarski from On Milwaukee about it.

What to Watch
#FreeJohnHenson - I have no idea why Ekpe Udoh is getting more minutes than Henson. The same goes for Zaza Pachuila. I actually think a lineup of Udoh and Henson as the frontcourt might be pretty powerful. Hopefully, Henson gets his shot.

What's Next for Milwaukee
The gravy train continues for Milwaukee as they welcome to Portland on Wednesday night. In the last three games, Milwaukee opponents had a total of five losses.Trail Blazers have started out the year hot without C.J. McCollum.  LaMarcus Aldridge is averaging nearly a double-double with 22 points and nine rebounds a game. Damien Lillard has not hit a sophomore slump and the Blazers are rolling.

Charlie.
