First Taste: Everybody Wants To Rule The World - Lorde

Everyone is going to act like they hate Lorde because her song is getting the overplayed treatment right now. You cannot go 15 minutes in the car without hearing 'Royals', but in reality, her album is damn good and not poppy at all.  She like many others is part of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Soundtrack, something I think we have played three or four of the songs. This might be my favorite. Lorde covers the classic from Tears Fo Fears 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World' with a very dark twist to it. The beat is different and she makes it feel very dark. I dig it a lot. The orginal is so good that it needs to get some time as well.
